With an onslaught of beautiful women with glowing skin, flawless faces and unblemished features in the media and on TV, perfect skin can sometimes feel like an unreachable dream. And yep, we’re still wondering how Holly Willoughby looks so gorgeous all the time too!

Here at Tea Huggers, we believe that with our few easy steps, you can have just as glowing, fresh and infallible skin as many of the faces you see in the limelight. Slap some moisturiser on and get reading!

A Healthy Diet – We’ve heard it time and time again, eat well and your body will look well. This is absolutely true! You can’t demolish a whopping bar of Galaxy and hope for spot free skin the next morning, sorry! Making sure you eat a wealth of fruits, vegetables and wholegrains can ensure that your skin is healthy and plump. Boosting intake of Omega 3 fatty acids (fish or walnuts are superb at providing this) and Vitamin C (found in citrus fruits and spinach) will speed up the healing of zits and pimples and reducing dairy intake is brilliant for avoiding acne or psoriasis.

Exfoliate – If radiant skin is your aim, snatch up an exfoliating met and get scrubbing! Exfoliating the skin in small circular motions does the treat in removing dead skin cells, these build up and diffuse the light to make skin appear dull. No thanks!

Long Live Olive Oil – Smooth a few drops of olive oil over your face, neck, elbows and knees every evening. Olive oil is oozing with monosaturated fat which hydrates and refreshes skin without a greasy residue.

You Guessed It, Hydrate! – Make sure you’re getting in at least 2 litres of water every. single. day. It sounds like a lot, but if you make drinking water interesting it doesn’t have to be a chore, and we vow that your skin will look splendid. Water flushes out the toxins in the body which penetrate pores and worsen your skin. Swap all those boring glasses of water with tea or flavoured sparkling water. Tea Huggers Detox Tea is a star for detoxing and revitalising the body and skin, the sage in Detox Tea has potent anti-aging properties and sage oil can even be used as a toner for oily skin!

Shower Shorter – Instead of a looooooong steamy shower, take shorter showers using cooler water. Long hot showers strip skin of its moisture and wash away protective oils. Boo!

Glow away, Tea Lovers!
